T clothes.
Whether you're wearing tallored street things or formal afternoon and evening frocks, you'll love the novelty manner in which they are treated.
Gone are the dava of dresses so strictly tailored as to appear severe. These now ones are tallored-yes- but in such ways as to make them unusual and fan bastic.
The girls to whom no autumn la complete without a tailored suit in the wardrobe will take their tailored suits with fur or with unusual lapels, or at least with some sort of different aleeve treatment.
The woman who never could wear plain Vor Dame Aquare necklines can forgot her worries. Fashion dictates high necklines or irregular ones this
year.
There's something very flattering about a high- preked dress, particularly for very young girls. Some of them button tightly about the throat. Others are loose fitting, but high just the same.
With everything taking a fancy turn, it naturally follows that fur plays an important part in the trim- ming game for this winter.
Not only are fur collars and cuffs popular; but strips of fur go around the bottom of three-quarters length coats, on aboulders as pads and on the hips of basqued jackets.
One particularly lovely street suit, has a three- quarters length coat which is belted. Epaulettes are of grey astrakhan fur and the matching fur collar is a tiny standup one which comes down around the front of the cont, reaching almost to the belt,
Wide enpe.collars turn out to be. not collars at afl, but intricate muller-type scarfs which tie around the back of the neck,
Naturally, with the fantastic note carried right Into tailored street things, it's obvious that, lounging costumes, pyjamas, negligees, hostess gowns and the like will go steps farther. and be very dressy.
Velvet is a favourite fabric for informal home wear. There's something luxurious about the material. And what lady doesn't want to feel luxurious when the day's work is done and she can sit around in a lounging outfit?
