The Crown withdrew the second charge.

The jury consisted of Mensrə, J. Dick, foreman, E. do Figueiredo, L. A. V. Ribeiro, R. Taylor, G. B. Labrum, A. L. G. Eastman; and P. L. Reefo.

It was stated that the woman was walking with the child at the Junction of Queen's Road and Chung Ching Strest when her bag was suddeniz snatched from- ber and prianner was zeen running away with it in his haul. A constable ran after the man, who fell after a short distance. When nrrested the bag waa not found on him and he flutly denied that he was the offender.
