The Crown withdrew the second charge.

The jury consisted of Mensrə, J. Dick, foreman, E. do Figueiredo, L. A. V. Ribeiro, R. Taylor, G. B. Labrum, A. L. G. Eastman; and P. L. Reefo.

A constable ran after the man, who fell after a short distance. When nrrested the bag waa not found on him and he flutly denied that he was the offender.
