MEMBERS OF WELL-KNOWN PORTUGUESE FAMILIES

A pretty wedding was solemnia. ed at St. Teresa's Church, Kow- loon Tong, yesterday evening, the contracting parties being Mr:-Leo D'Almada o Castro, r., B. A. (Oxon), Barrister-at-law, aon. Ol Mr. and Mrs. Leo D'Almada o Castro, and Miss Clotilde Barret- o daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Barretto. The Kov. Fr. Granelli ulaciated.

The bride was given away by her father, and Mr. J. J. Basto alled the duty of best man to the bridegroom, while Mr. JA M. Aiman Remedios Wos the Kroomsman.

The bridesmaids, wore Misses Ophelia Barretto, Gloria D'Almada e Castro, Maria Botelho and Olga Basto. They looked charming lo rocks of cactus green elephan. crepe designed by "Eunies, "-wit.. fluted skirts and graceful

capes anishing at the back and trimmed with white fur. Chic caps of the same colouring wore also worn, and they carried bouquets of yol- low gladioll.

The bridal gown was exquisito In line and detail in Penu' d'ange salin moulded along directoire lincs, by "Eunice." The bride's train, falling from the shoulders, was trimmed with orange blos. soms, and laed with blush pink chiffon. A beautifully long floral tulle veil was worn over the face. held by bridal blossoms. She car- ried a white prayer book, from which fell tiny satin

tied with little buds of blossoms.

Mrs. Barretto, the bride'a mother, wore a becoming gown of} black and white lace with hat to match; while Mrs. Leo D'Almada C Castro, the bridegroom's mother, was attired in a charming kown of black silk lace and moro. caine over apricot georgette,. finished with a large apricot flow er, also designed by "Eunice."

A largely-attended reception was held at the Club de Recreio, after which the happy couple left for their honeymoon at Repulse Bay.

The bride's ing-away dress was of myrtle green cloth ensem ble with collar of fawn fox fur and hat to match, by "Eunice."; Her bag, shoes and gloves werd also in harmony.
