SERVANT POSES AS PRINCESS

STORY OF £7,000 SWINDLE

DUKE & PICKLE FACTORY

Prague.

A servant girl named Maric Binova, who has been arrested here, is stated to have swindled a retired printer out of-£7,000 by. posing as a princess.

This is the astonishing story which is alleged against her:-"

Marie, calling herself Princess Marle Antolnetto Liechtenstein, made the aequaintance of the retired hoad foreman of a Prague printing office. She installed her- Helf in his home, told his wife and family stories of the aged' "Duke of Liechtenstein," whom she called her father, and bor- rowed sums of money from the printer which she said she would invest in the "Duke's" enterprises. After some time an-urgent-letter came from his Grace. He needed a sum of money to purchase 3 large sausage and pickle factory. If ber friends could raise it, he could see his way to adopting the family and leaving to it a share of his estates.

The printer sold a block of flats in which he had invested his Bay- Ings, and gave the proceeds to Marie, who is said to have spent it in such a way as to attract the attention of the police.

A letter which the police found, in which the. "Duke" told his "daughter" about the sausage and pickle factory, was couched in tho worst grammar and spelling, and ran approximately as follows:-

Dere Kid,

I am up a gum-tree about a sosige and pikle factory I have my peepere on. They don't no what to ating me for it, and are trying to come it. But there are no files on me.. I will buy the factory if I can lay my hands on the splash, then at least we will have cheap susiges.

All the best from yours,

Duke Liechtenstein.

-Reuter.

All closed models of the 1933 Buick are equipped with the new Fisher No-Draft Individually Controlled Ventilation System. Ventilation is obtained by Constructing the window glass in two sections, parted vertically. The front section, may be turned to any degree desired so that each passenger can ventilate his part of the car to suit himself.

New headlights and fender lights harmonize with the general appearance. The new "V" type radiator with chrome grille is one of the new Buick's most striking appearance features. The chrome-plated synchronized twin borns are of the smart, elbow

type.

One of the most striking features of improvement in the 1933 Buick is the double-drop frame with X-type cross member. This provides a very rigid frame construction for the Buick Sealed Chassis and permits a lower mounting of the body. It also allows the. use of soft, resilient rubber in the new five-point mountings of the Buick power plant.
