London, June. 19.
Suzanne Longlen, the famous French tennis player, arrived in London on Saturday by air. Despite a rough crossing from Paris, Suzanne was bor charming and vivacious self..
"I love tennis as much as ever. and I am here to give lessons and demonstrations.
"I was most interested in the suggestion that I may play Mrs. Helen Wills-Moody again, I should like to meat her again. She is charming and 2 grent player.
ח
"I do not know what would, happen if such
match materialised. I have not seen her play for a long time. It is aoven years since my last appearance in amateur tournment tennis.

"Of course, Mrs. Wills-Moody is amateur and I am a pro- fessional. There might be dif ficulties. I certainly should not apply for reinstatement AR (15) amateur,
"I have seen Mins Peggy Scriven play. She is very clever and, as she is young she has Д Kreat chance. Whether she will beat Mra. Wills-Moody or not I cannot say, but she will put up a very good fight. She gave a magni- feent show in Paris.
"About tennis fashions? I still. wear my bandeau. It Is स necessary to me as my racket.
"What do I think of shorts or women? They are very comfort- able in hot weather, at a holiday resort. I think the most comfort- able dress one can wear is shorts and a brassiere.' But in a big tournament they are hardly
proper.
"As for rouged knees, I have never heard of such a thing."
