YEAR'S ACTIVITIES COME UNDER REVIEW

The ninth annunt report of tho Kowloon Union, Church, to be pro- sented at the annual meeting to be held in the Church Hall on January 30 nt

The attendances at the services have been well maintained through- out the year.

The total contributions for the 13 months, ending 31st December 1932 including envelope contribu tions and subscriptions, amounts to $6,829,55 as against $5,231.47 for the 12 months ended 30th Novumber 1011.

subscription systema. The members subscrib- ing by both systems have main- tained their contributions, but there has been a falling off in the numbers so subscribing which has been due to the departure of cer- tain members from the Colony.

It is hoped that more members will avail themselves of thesu methode of giving to Church funds. Obituary.

There are 197 names on the Church Roll. With the death of Mrs. Macintosh and Mrs. Harvey: the Church has suffered a very deep loss, and the Church's deepest sympathy is extended to the rela- tives. Both these ladies were zealous workers in various Depart- ments of the Church. Deep regret has also been felt at the, passing away of Captain R. G. Groundwater and deepest sympathy has been ex- tended to Mrs. Groundwater and family,

It la with much regret that news have been received of the passing away of Mrs. W. Forsyth. The deepent sympathy, of Dr. and Mrs. Allen, the members of the General Committee, and every member of the Church in extended to Mr. Forsyth and family.

Our new Minister, Revd. E. L. Allen, M.A., PhD, accompanied by Mrs. Allen and infant, arrived from England on the 6th. January 1932. and the Church's marked progress during the past few months, has been largely due to Dr. and

Lord's

The Sacrament of the Supper was observed on the th January 3rd April, 3rd July and 2nd October 1932, and 8th January 1933. The Sacrament of Baptism was administered to ten infanta, and Marriage was solemnized in the Church on eleven occasions.

The usual Christmas Treat for the children took place on Friday Soth December 1932 and was

thoroughly enjoyed by all present.

Thanks are due to the ladies whe so kindly looked after the flowers

for the Pulpit on Sundays.

The Chairman and Committee thank those members who have so loyally supported the Church during the past year, and have no doubt that, with the commencing of the new year, their loyality and terest will be maintained.
