Giving their second display of fancy diving in Hongkong, the Olympic divera, "Dutch" Smith and Buttery, Faria Simaika, last night enrap- tured a huge crowd at the Chinese Bathing Club.

Members of the Hongkong Football Club gathered at the club room yesterday evening to bid farewell to Mr. II. M. McTavish, Hon. Secretary of the Club, prior to his departure for England next Saturday.

Mr. H. R. Forayth. Vice-Pre- aldent of the Club, speaking on be- half of the members said:

Gentlemen: We are here to- night for the purpose of saying farewell to Mr. Hector McTavish, who first became associated with the Club 18 years ago, and whose association ever since has been a

close and valuable onc. During the first years he was a very active playing member, and one has only to read the old newe- paper files until 1920 to see how invaluable he was to us. "Mae" was an active member until 1920, when he finished up skippering the 11.K.F.C. soccer team. An ac- eident ended his active career and he took on the Secretaryship of the Club.
