Mr. Beck, testifled that he inserted a notice in the Chinese newspapers offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of people infringing the trade mark of the Company. This notice was inserted on October 6. On the 7th, he received information as a result of which he went to Shamshi. po where he found two junks contain- ing bags of content. The numbers of these junks were Tib1311 and 152V. There were about six men and some women on 352V, but on seeing him, the men left hurriedly.. He called on then to stay, but they did not do so. He accordingly went to the Shamshui- po Police Station and reported the matter. A Chinese detective was then sent out to watch the junks.
