CANTON'S BOYCOTT.

HONGKONG CONSIGNMENT SEIZED BY PICKETS

The netion of the Canton Anti- Japanese Boycott Society officials in confiscating foreign products suspected of being Japanese in origin, and their manner of using the money realised from auction of the seized goods for the assistance of the Chinese war in Shanghai against the Japanese, were referred to at the monthly meeting of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce yesterday.

Mr. Lee Won-kam, the Secretary, told the meeting that sometime Ryo Hongkong Arm, Messrs. Kwdng Tat-yuen, dealer in foreign paper, complained to the Chamber about a consignment of paper being seized on its arrivat in Canton. The firm contended that the paper was not Japanese in origin. Following this protest: the Chamber communicated with the Canton authorities and plained the whole affair.

had been received from the Pro vincial Kuomintang in Canton stating that the goods were sold and the money realised in the aale, amounting to about $30,000, had been sent to the Nineteenth Route Army leaders in Shanghai.
