I should like on behalf of the Club to offer our very hearty congratulations our neighbours the K.C.C. winning for the first time the Senior Division Shield, which was a very ane performance. We have the consolation of knowing that the Shield is now rarer to us than it has bera ance we won it in 1922 and I assure you we have strong hopes of persuading it to come the other couple of hun- dred yards next season.

t.o

Reward of l'erseverance,

In the Second Division we have at last attained the reward of per- Keveranch, and after being runners up for the two previous yeare-in both of which we tied on paints and lest in the play off-we have managed annexc the trophy. As Mag- Whirter says in his Lown Bowls in flangkong, there life in the old dog yet. I think our hearty con gratulations are due to Mr. Hale, the Captain of the 2nd Team, and his players on getting this honour for

the Club.

We were unable this year to secure the open Championship of the Colony, but, we provided the winner last year and ori plecard to see the honour going round; we extend the congratulations of the Club to Mr. Clmur on his well deserved victory and also to the runner-up.

We nan congratulate the Craigin gower Club on winning the Spey Royal Cup, although secretly we think they were rather fortunate in beating our Snry Royal Team which gave them the closest game they had in the competition-only losing by one >hot.
