Shortly after the appointment, sometime in April, the two defen dants in the case started a small shop in the same business at 372. Statements made by the defen dants in answer to the charges were that they had only temporarily barrowed the goods. Against the first defendant there was also a charge of his having collected $47.41 from the Sun Kee Yoon Yut Restaurant which had not been ac counted for, while an additional charge was that of misappropria- tion of a second sum of $24.88 he had received in the course of his duties.
After evidence was heard, his Worship decided there

case against one of the men, Lui Kam, who want digcharged. The case against Wong King-ng, was then adjourned, hail being reduced to $250.
