The chaotic political situation in Szechuan formed the subject of outspoken comment by the Com- missioner of Reconstruction in Sze chuan, Mr. Heung Yu-yan, who is visiting Nanking and was approach- ed by newspaper correspondents for his opinions on the prospects of pence in Szechuan. He said peace was still very remote.

In the frat half the halfbacks were not quite In tune with the forwards, but after the change of ends, they dominated to play and passed with necuracy.
