This match was played on K.C.C. ground and ended in a draw, which was expected. With two such strong batting sides, admitted to be two of the strongest in the League. in opposition, it is well-nigh impos- xible to arrive at, a decision Saturday afternoon's gamo.
Taking frat knock, K.C.C, compiled 164 for the loss of three wickets and was in good form declared. Brace and gave his side a good start with a well-played 68 while E. F. Fincher played a forceful innings, scoring 71 in quick time.
The Club tried six bowlers but none of them met with any great success. Beck, Owen Hughes and Duckitt had ench a wicket to their credit, but they were rather costly,
The scoring was on the slow side when the Hongkong C. C. went in to hot, Pearce was top scorer with 32. and Mitchell contributed 27. When stumps were drawn, the Cub score was 87 for four wickes, F. F. Fincher captured two wickets for eight runk
Indians Win Aguin, Playing at Soakanpoo, the Indian Recreation Club defented the Royal Artillery by two wickets after a very interesting game. After the Gunners had put up a good score, it appeared that a draw would be the most likely result, but the Indians set about the bowling and flogged it to good effect, making the required rons just in time.
A dashing display by Lieut. A. II. son, the Interporter, saved the gunners from what might have been a total collatise. Their first few bata. men were dismissed very cheaply but Musson gave them the upper hand, After a period when things looked very bad for them, Musson was dropped In few times but his century was an
invaluable knock for the gunners.
P. D. Pereira was the most success. ful beseire for the 1.R.C., taking half The wickets for 68 runs. Going on Inte. A. H. Tumiahn captured two wickets for 10 runs, and Areulli had Iwo "Tar 10.
A. 11. Rumjaha and A. H. Maar
gave their side a fine start, the former scoring 22 before being dismissed, but the latter went on to make 59. A. K. Minu helped matters with 40. and the Indians made the required runs with two wickets in hand,
