WOMAN HELPS IN A HOLD-UP.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY NEAR THE UNIVERSITY,

It was stated in a Police report yesterday, concerning a highway roblery, that one of the three persons who took part in it was a

woman.

Tam So, a married woman. living at Portland Street, Yaumali, told the Police that she was walk- ing along a path above the Univer sity whed she was seized by two men who, were accompanied by a woman. While the men held her, the i woman dispossessed their victim of

pair of car-rings and a bangle. in addition to a small sum money. The total haul was at $60.

A later Police report stated that one of the rubbers was arrested, but that the other man and the woman who assisted them in the crime were still at large.
