The many friends of Mr. William E. Wilson, formerly of the Hong- kong Police Force, will regret to learn that he died suddenly at the Government Civil Hospital yester- day, after having been removed

The late Mr. Wilson was a very popular member of the Police Force, until his retirement about two years ago. He was known to his many friends as "Tug". He would have been 48 years of age on July

Joining the Police Force September 2, 1912, the late Mr. Wilson received promotion in the usual manner, and on December 21, 1924 he was given the rank of Sub- Inspector, which he held until he retired. He had been in Hongkong ever since, being engaged in various lines of business in the Colony,
