In an interesting bridge contest played last night between the K.C.C. and the Sports Club, the Kowloon ex- ponents won by 978 points-2070 to 1092. Those playing for the K.C.C. were R. E. SERIOUS RIOTING IN BOLIVIA.

TROOPS FIRE ON MOB OF DEMONSTRATORS.

Buenos Aires, June 26. It is reported that thirty-four persons, including women and children, were killed, and hun- dreds wounded at La Plaz, Bolivia, following a demonstration against General Kundt, commanding the Government forces.

The latter fired on the mob. The demonstrators later paraded with the corpses.

There have been many arresta; but the censorship is very strict, and no detalls are available.-- Reuter's American Service.
