CRITICISED.
LOW DOLLAR EFFECTS.
The report of the Salaries Com mission was criticised by Mr. M. K. Lo at the monthly meeting of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce yesterday afternoon. The Chair man, Mr. Li Yick-mui, agreed with he criticism and comments of Mr. Lo and suggested that a copy of Mr. Lo's letter be submitted to the Chinese representatives on the Legislative Council with a view to bringing the matter to the attention of the Government. This was agreed to....".
