The leadership of the Senior Division of the Cricket League

The leaders were thoroughly trounced, for they were nat caly skilled out for a meagre total, but Kowloon went on to run up the big score of 161 for 9

BERWICK TOO STRONG

FOR CLUB "A"-"

Quite a bright and fast game - wan played on the Club ground on Satur day afternoon, when a strong Berwick itle, playing their farowell rame in Hongkong, defeated the Club "A" team by two goals and thros tries (19 points) to one goal and two tries (11 points),

Play was very open, in fact, a little too open, but many fine movements were the result. The Berwick pack had the better of the Club forwards, for whain L. Bailey; of the Berwick, was leader. The Berwick also lent Oswald to the, Club, and very effi- elent centre he proved, scoring the Club's first try with a fine burst. The Berwick had the ball from nearly all the tight scrums, so that the Club halves were mostly employed in tack. ling their "opposite numbers."

After the Berwick had kept the ball in the Club half. for some ten minutes, Batton got over the line from a nice pass by Buckday. This was the more dangerous wing, though Batten did not get as much of the hall in the later stages. He has a good swerve to the left, and always looked like scoring when he got the ball. Soon afterwards, Oswald got over for the Club, a fast rùn enabling him to beat the opposition. Divett did not get the distance with the kick,
