LAST NIGHT.
The City Hall was almost filled last night with a large number of boxing "fans" of all degroes. The ringside e
scats were filled by officers of Navy, Army and Air Force. The General Officer Commanding the Troops in China (H. E. Major-Gen- eral J. W. Sandilands, C.D., C.M.G., D.8.0.) was unable to be present, and the Unit Competition Cup, and the smaller cups for individual win nere and runners-up, were presented by Colonel J. McD. Haskard, C.M.G., D.S.0, G.S.0.1., China Command.
The results, in points, showed a tin between the K.0.3.B., and the S.L.I

Flyweights.
The first fight, in the fly-weights,

between Ptes. Weaver
and
Murphy, both of K.0.3.B. They started well, but Weaver was at times Inclined to awing rather wildly. Murphy won the first round with a good deal of close hitting, especially to the head. “
Bantamweights,

Al though cautioned twice for leaning, Baulch won more or less easily in the Inst round, Finlayson took lot of punishment
Pte. Spalding, K.0.8.B., and the better of the best with Ple. Weare, S.L.I., in the other middleweight semi- final, and Weare took a good many bard punches.
