Mir. Koo Ying-fan, the Chief of the Civil Oficials Department of tho Nationalist Government in
Nanking, who has been on a visit to Canton, returned to the city yesterday after having been on a flying visit to Wuchow. His Excellency General Chang Ming-†† shu, Civil Governor of Kwangtung, had accompanied Mr. Kao Ying
fan and returned with him.
Whilst in Wachow, Mr. Ko Ying-fan attended an important military conference at which General Chan Chai-tong, Com- mander-in-Chief of the Cantonese Forces, was present and also most of
the other high commanders engaged in the suppression of the Kwanga rebellion.
At this conference it was decid- ed that the 6th and 8th Route Armies should continue to follow up the enemy and attack his mail base at Lduchow, with the object all wiping out of once and for completely the rebel Kwangsi
forces.
Mr. Kao Ying-fan will remain a few days more in Canton and will then return to Nanking via Hongkong and Shanghai,
