GERMAN DÚCTOR BEFORE CANTON COURT.

Owing, it is alleged, to his mak-" ing an autopsy, of a deceased pa- tient at the Pearl River Hospital without having first obtained the consent of the relatives of the deceased, a German doctor waa brought to trial at the local court yesterday afternoon.

The doctors from the local court, the Sanitary Bureau and the Municipal Hospital examined the body, which examination was suc- ceeded by the coroner's inquest. As a result, the German doctor and the president of the hospital were summoned before the court.

This being the first trial of al the history of the foreigner in local court, many of the medical and law profession thronged the

court to listen to the hearing. However, this being a preliminary enquiry, the presiding judge order- ed the court to be cleared.- 'Canton News Agency.
