A pretty wedding took place at the British Consulate, Shanghai, recently when Mrs. Ethel Lucan, daughter of Mr and Mrs. John Cole-Meredith, became the wife of Mr. William Henry Spray, Mrs. Albert Fullen was her attendent, while Mr. Richard Bladon served Mr. Spray as bost man.

A reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pullen in Route Mayon followed the

ceremony at the Consulatö.
