Anticipations were realised yeater. day evening, when the V.R.G. "A" water polo team, bent the Somerset Light Infantry team by two goals to nil in a longue match.

Both goals wore scored by Mr. J. Stewart, secretary of the V.IL.C.

An ocident in the game was the undering off of D. Laing, of the V.R.C. team, after the second goal had been scored. Laing was penalis. ed for waiting within the two yard limit, and as no further goal was scored he could not return to the pool.
