MEETING WITH OLD FRIEND AT NICE.

Nice, Jan, 25. A young and wealthy English- woman, Mrs. Ethel Dorothy Richardson, was shot and seriously wounded this morning at Nice by a Swiss hotel keeper named Augusta Lichtenberger, who afterwards took his own life.

Mrs. Richardson was born in London in 1892; her maiden name was "Salomons.

According to Information given by the police after their inquiry Mrs. Richardson came to Nice at the beginning of the season, and was ataying at the hotel Beau Rivage..
