TWO VESSELS IN HONGKONG| FOR FIRST TIME.

Tho lagt few days have seen the arrival of a number of vessels which were now to the port, and another two appeared in yesterday morning's Harbour Ofco Reports.

One of two steamers is the 2.8. Sirius which is under the American flag and is owned by Madregal and Co, who have no agents in Hong kong. She entered in ballast, being understood that she is here for repairs, and is now in Kowloon Dock.

Built in 1906 by the Workman, Clark and Co. Ltd. at Belfast as the Suva, she is a steel screw ship of 2,2 gross tonnage and 1,359 nott tonnage, and is fitted with wireless and électric lights.

The other vessel new to the port was the 6.5. Sinntur, which is under the Dutch flag and is owned by Ruys & Co. for whom the Java China Japan Lijn are the local agents,

The 8. Siantar is a steel screw ship of 8,430 gross tonnage and 5,848 nelt tonnage, and her dimensions are length 4.0 feet, benm 57.4 feet and depth 38.4 feet. Built in 1921 by the Wear Shipyard of W. Gray & Co. at Sunderland for Ruys & Co, she was engined by an English ship- building werks to 800 N.l.P., and is installed with wireless and electric lights,

She was registered at Rotterdam and arrived in part on Monday with a crew of 20 Europana and 49 Asiaties under the command of Capt. T. Ghollanr. She carried a cargo of 4000 tons for local discharge and 4.500 tons for ports heyond, while 20,000 cases of kerosene were mani. fested on board.
