Judge Peter Grain delivered the following judgment at the British Bupreme Court in Shanghal, on Saturday morning:-

Steamship Co., Ltd..."

The plaintifa, in this case, claim delivery of seventy-five cases! of Tennant's Lager Beer wrong fully detained by the defendants, the Ocean Steamship Co., Ltd., or (Halkwan) Tis, 678, the value of the goods.

The facts concerning the case are as follows:-

morning to hear an appeal against the decision of the Magistrate at the Kowloon Court in the case in which two Chinese were charged with having in their possession forty pigs which had been stolen.

Each was fined $150.

When the motion came before Mr. Justice J. R. Wood and Mr. P. Jacks this morning, Mr. Hing Shing Lo appeared for appellant and Mr. Somerset Fitzroy for the Crown, the latter applying for the case to be struck off the list.
