The programme has been com pleted, though some alteration or addition might very well be made to fit in a bout between Stoker P. O. Jim Cartlidge and Andre Dupre Cartlidge writes me this morning in the following terms:

"Would you kindly state that I shall be quite delighted to meet Andre Dupre if the Association can stage the fight before Decem ber 27th, as I sail for Home on the 28th by the s.s. Autolyqus."

The only date possible is Decem ber 21st, and if the Association can see its way clear to fall in with the suggestion, it would be a real gala night.

Up to-date, the Association's tournaments have met witli extra- well' deserved, ordinary success, Brent-and there would

be no govore strain on the funds, I should" imagine, if they gave us an at- tractive bout such as a return be- tween these men would undoubted- ly be cumshaw.
