Activities of plekots in the Can- ton. river were mentioned in a Summary Court case yesterday in'| which the White Star Company claimed from the Kwong Hing Loong firm the aum of $554:11, boing the cost of three cases of woollen piece goods delivered to defendants for delivery in Cany ton. They also elaimed $186 which they paid defendants for freight.
Mr. W. B. Hind appeared for the plaintiffs but the defendants were neither present nor represented..
Plaintiffs' caso WAS that the goods were delivered 'to defendant firm and a receipt for them re- ceived. They guaranteed to de- liver them in Canton but this had never been done.
