SHANGAL TOMB CEREMONY.-Chinese girl students took an active part in the tomb ceremony in Chapei Shanghai, Jast week. As this picture shows, a number of girls carried wreaths and placed them on the memorial stone and in the matshods where pictures of the victims of May 30 last were exhibited.

BOWING TO THE MEMORIAL STONE.-After tho memorial stone was unveiled at the Shanghai tomb site,. officials solemnly bowed to it in rovorenco to the dead. Picture was taken during this part of the ceremony which was attended by about 2,000 persons.
