Deep regret was expressed when the sad news came that Mr. W. H. Lacy, wife of tho financial secretary of the Methodist Episcopal Missions in Chinn, had died in Kuling on August 19, Mrs. Lacy who came to China in 1887, made a host of friends all over "China and especially in Shanghal where she was a leading spirit in Church work and in social and benevolent organizations.
