ILL-FATED PLANE.-Here is the last picture taken of the Boston, the ill-fated world flight plans, which was wrocked on the light from Kirkwall to Iceland. A broken propeller resulted in the ship being forced down into the sea. Lieutenant Wade was picked up by a patrol ship. Sergeant A. M. Ogden is shown working on the plane at Prough, near Hull.

OFF TO AMERICA-A group of the students from Tsingitwa College with are leaving Shanghat for the United States to attend colleges and universities of that country, gather ed recently at the American Consulate to pay their respects to Mr. Edwin S. Cunningham, Consul General of the United States In Shanghat, before sailing on the Admiral-Oriental steamer President Jefferson Sixty-seven students from the Paking institution left on the liner. In addition to those there are over 60 students, from private Institutions in Northern China who sailed.

In the above photograph, centre, are shown Mr. Cunningham, American Consul-General and Mrs. Cunningham. Also Mr. J. B. Sawyer, who is in charge of the Passport Office at the American Consulate, and the Tsing Hwa college representative who was sent to Shanghai with the studmota.
