The official lot of election results gives the Conservatives 20, Republicans 117, Left Republicans 52, Democratic Left 75, Radicals and Radical Socialists 180, Republican Socialists 85, Sociallets 102, Communisté 29.
Ten results are still awaited from the Colonies, four second ballots and one from the Nord Department..
On the basis of these figures the Right and Centre muster 264 seats against 305 on the Left, including the Socialists, or 276 without the Communiste.
The new Chamber is thus divided in almost equal masses Right and Left Much depends on the direction of gravitation of the deputies on the borderland between the two main bodies. The balance of parties seems to justify the prophecy of small majorities and frequent crises in the Chamber-Router.
