The Minister of Marice, în a statement before the Naval Com- mittee of the Senate on the voyage of the Dixmude, sald the airship was earmarked in September for the Toulon-Dakar line,, but at the request of Commander. Duplessis, the flights were to be extended as far as Insalah, to study aerial conditions over the desert. Com. Duplessis gave the order to leave Cueees aerodrome. He therefore believed the airship was able to complete her mission-Reuter.
