WHOLE STREET IS FUEL FOR FLAMES.
The whole stretch of Yarakucho Street provided fuel for the Games that destroyed a large part of Tokyo after a succession of earthquakes bad done tremendous damage. This picture, taken from the Imperial Hotel, which was one of the very few buildings left standing in the district, shows the fire slowly creeping up the street.
THE CREEPING FIRES.
Thousands of people watched the flames encompass Tokyo after the earthquake and eat up everything in their pathway. This picture was taken in Yamashita Street
in Kyubashi ward.

DESOLATION REIGNS SUPREME.
