The election of Mr. Bonar Law as leader of the Unionists at the meeting on Monday is a foregone conclusion, whereafter an immediate general election is likely to be anncunes.
It is reliably stated to-night that a proclamatian summoning a new Parliament will be issued by 30th October, Nomination Day will be fixed for 8th November and Polling Day 18th November.
The new Farliament will probably be summoned to mest after: a few days interval, în consequence of the urgency of Irish legisla- tion and other pressing matters.
