SEATTLE'S SHIPPING.

More charters are being made all the time and shipping men in general are conservatively optimistic over the situation and Seattle, especially, bas felt tha stimulus of improved shipping and foreign demand for Pacif Northwest products. There has been a tremendous increase in the number of passangers being moved by water from that port Passenger travel to Alaska this Fear has been the heaviest of rec ord. while the new service of the Admiral Line has brought beavy coastwise travel on the Puget Sound-California fleet. The government's 335-foot passenger liasra, operated out of this port to the Orient by the Admiral Line, are attracting an increasing number of passengers, and the showing made by this compar with this combination freight and passenger service is one of the most encouraging things along the waterfron, states the Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
