The ball is hoisted balf maat at the 55th minute and full mast a the 57th minute. Should the bell fail to drop at the correct time, it will be lowered at fire minutes past the bour and the ordinary routine repeated at following hour, if possible.

Should the time ball be out of | order the above routine will be carried out with flag "Z" on the stom signal mast.

At 6 a m. this morning the de- pression or typhoon in the Chins Sea appeared to be in about Lat 15 N. and Long. 112' E., moving N.W.

A depression formed to the; north of Yap yesterday morning, and appears to be moving west ward. It may develope into a typhoon...
