While the capture at the Four Court coed omen for the ultimate success of the Provisional Gorament in restoring order it is evidentitat fargera till faced with the difficult task of round- ing" up the tobolka tabar: Communist alles net enly in Dublin but in other parts the country. News from the provinces is almos: completely lacking. Information reaching Dublin from the Bountry districts. It is said, indicate that the provinces are fairly quiet but on the other hand there are some tes favourable signs, for example, the rebels it fire to the small Free State post office at Forues, 20 miles from: Limerick. The garrison was compelled to surrender the telegraph wires in the Limerick district which were ut, a railway bridge was destroyed and the permanent way torr Similar tactics have been abopted by the r.bels in East Cork but the Provisional Government who can dispose of 11,000 regular troops are not inactive. A strong force of regarlars proceeded yester- day night to West County Limeri.& where the rebais werd reportad to be enveloping the regalar post office. Free Staters also carried at a copp South Drogheda, rupturing three of the principal obrer of the Dundalk Republicans who were motoring to Dublin.

“SHE COULDN'T HEEP IT"
A victim of harsh circumstances was Nance, the Orphans' Home kid. Only a very malign Fate indeed could have arranged things so that she would be adopted by a gang of professional thieves, who taught her to steal. They were so kind to her that she loved them and glady picked pockets to wie their admiring praise. But a day came, when, by a strange adven- ture, she stepped out of the old life and into a new and better one, a life of romance and regeneration.
