THEIR MAJESTIES IN FRANCE.
Boulogne, May 13.
King George has concluded the tour of the War Cemeteries. After inspecting Ypres and Vimy Ridge, he visited, among other places, the cemeteries at Lillers. Bethune, Lys, Arras, Bapatime, Albert and Etaples. In the presence of Marshal Foch, he placed a great wreath of red roses on the Memorial in the French National Cemetery at Notre Dame Lorette. He paid special attention to the
graves of soldiers from the Dominions at the various remeteries.
He participated with the Queen to-day in an imposing Anglo-French ceremony at the Terlinethan Cemetery at Boulogne, where His Majesty, in a speech dwelling on the services of the "singled-hearted assembly of nations and races which form our Empire." said the whole circuit of the earth was girdled with their graves; but in France "our brothers, alas, numbered hundreds of thousands. They tie in the keeping of their tried and generous friend and resolate, chivalrous somrade-in-arms." After visiting the graves of Indian soldiers at Meerut Cemetery, Their Majesties embarked for England this afternoon.
