newest material for purses.
The Nouveaute purse in the ceatre is of beautifully colour- ed silk brocade held to a fiat
square frame from which a single woven gold bard ex-
tends. The latter has an ad- justable clasp so that the purse can be carried on the arm.
Quite an unusual model is the | bag which is framed in ebony and clasps with a dragon. The beading is a quaer old Chinese design done in saft colours.
