QUESTIONS IN PARLIAMENT.
Flags of the Irish Regiments.
In the House of Commons, Sir Worthington Evans, replying to Sir Maurice Dockrell, said the Army Council fully appreciated the distinguished services of the Famous Irish regiments now about to be disbanded. If their flags and other trophies were deposited with them they would charge themselves with the duty of disposing of them honourably.
THE MORMONS.
Mr. Short, informed Viscount Curzon that inquiries into the activities of Mormon mission- apies were still proceeding, and he was not yet in a position to maka any statement.
DUPLICATION OF COURT PROCEEDINOS.
Mr. Short, in reply to Major Christopher Lowther, said the! amendment of the law in respect; of the duplication of proceedings in Magistrates' and Coroners Courts would be considered in connection with a Bill which was now being drafted, and which would be introduced as soon ES possible.
METROPOLITAN WOMEN PATROLS
Mr. Shortt, answering Mr. Me- lope, said he could not give an asanrance that he would oppass the recommendations of the Ged- des Committee to abolish the Metropolitan women patrols.
INSULTING BEHAVIOUR IS HYDE PARK.
The Home Secretary, replying! to Viscount Carzon, said that SINCE January 1st. 1921, 157 males and 164 females had been charged with insultinz behaviour in. Hyde Park. Of these only three males and four females were discharged, and in three male cases the conviction had been quashed on appeal.
These figures showed how little foundation there was for the in- sinuation that the police were: acting carelessly in this matter.
THE GEDDES REPORT. In reply to Mr. Briant, Sir L Worthington Evans said he had no present intention of issuing a memorandum commenting on the findings of the Geddes Com-1 mittee.
Sir Thomas Bramsden asked the Minister of Pensions whether he intended to 18sue any remor- andam cocamenting on the find- ings of the Geddes Committee.
Mr. Macpherson-I am sidering it.

Mr. Macpherson-That is ex- actly what I am doing.
