ELECTRIC DRIDGER

A 20-in. suction dredger in cre on the Sumas River in Washing- ton was recently converted from steam to electric operation by the Marsh Construction Company. As Dow arranged the dredger has a total connected load of 1,3925 h.p, with motors ranging up to 1,000 h.p.
