London, December 8. At the conclusion of a mesting of the Cabinet of Dail Eireann. Mr. de Valera issued a statement that he was unable to recommand acceptance of the proposed treaty of peace either to the Dail or to the country. He enjoined the maintenance of strict discipline pend- ing a public session of the Dail on the 14th. inst. He declared tha two members of the Cabinet support his standpoint.
