The Building Described. The branch office in Shameen was first opered in 1909, when one of the old hongs was altered to meet the requirements of the Bank. Mr. R. D. Hynd was the first agent. In the following year he was succeeded by Mr. H. A c Intyre. Mr. J. Sememgour look | over charge in 1911 and Mr. W. c. D. Tarner two years later. Mr. D. Forbes, the present arent. was appointed to the position in 1914.
The new building is an impos- cg. substantially built structure, and a very fine addition to the Central Avenue architecture.
