Serbo-Albanian Hostilities.

A now war has broken out in the Near East as the result of the failure of the League of Nations to fix the Serbo-Albanian frontier. A usssage from Valona via Rome says that the commander of the Serbian forces on the River Drias gave the Albanians twenty-four hours' antics to evacuate six strategically important positions on the frontier. The Albanians failed to comply, whereupon after a furious twenty-four hour bor bardment the Serbians occupied the district The Albanians re-attacked, and, after bitter fighting, in which both sides lost heavily, repulsed the Servians, making prisoners of a number of Serts and of Russians belonging to the former Wrangel
