CANTONESE CREW OBJECT TO SIKHS.

As the result of an altercation between some of the Cantonese crew of the Fook Sang and some Sikh passengers on board the vessel, which arrived at Singe- pore from Calcutta, three of the former ware produced before Mr. Dawson, Third Magistrate on a charge of causing hurt to the Sikhs, and on being convicted were sentenced to a fire of $20 or three weeks' rigorous imprison- ment esch. The trouble is said to bave arisen on the Sikhs objecting to the accused taking their meals near them.
