THE BULGARIAN TERMS.
Paris, Noy. 5.

The Allies replying to the Eulgarian objections to the terms cabled on Sept. 19 especially the plea that the alliance with Germany was a mere accident recall Bulgaria's unprovoked rearward attack on Serbia thua paralysing the berioc Serbian resistance against the in- vaders and acting as a vanguard of the German armies by making a war of conquest and pillage against Greece and Serbia. Nevertheless the Allies are not inspired by a spirit of vengance and do not dream of making Bulgaria expiate her past faults but merely wish a just and con- Sequently durable peace. It reminds Bulgaria that they allowed her an economic outle: to the Agean and made".. same modifications in the terms. They hnally notify that Bulgarian's text must now be accepted or rejected within ten days whereafter the armistice of Sept. 29, 1918, ends and the Allies will take scch steps as may be thought usefpi

"TOYS OF FATE."
ANOTHER BIG CORONET
DRAW.
on
In spite of the fact that the weather on Saturday was very unpropitious a large number of people were tempted to the Coronet by the picture Toys of Fate," in which the incom- parable Nazimova takes the chief role. We do not think that a single member. of the audience had the slightest regret at having turned out Isuch a miserable night. The picture truly is, as Mr. Ray has pointed out in his advertisement, bigger and better than "Revela- tion. That was a glorious pro- duction as the Hongkong public can testify, so that to say it was even surpassed by "Toys of Fate" is going fari Neverthe less it is true. The Coronet is showing" big picture after big picture to such an extent that film lovers are not a little bo. wildered when it comes to discuss. ing the merits of those that have been screened. The one thing outstanding, however, is that each successive film seems better than the one before. "Toys of Fate" is a “winner". It has taken the public by storm. We have seen Nazimova before on The Coronet screen and there- fore expected reat things of her in Toys of Fate". We were not! disappointed. She ucts & tremend- lously difficult part exquisitely, thus making a grand success of a strong story which could have been so easily spoiled had it not been treated in the azimova WAY.
The showing of "Toys of Fate" is An opportunity no-one should miss of seeing what is best in the picture world.
To-day at 2.15 p.m. there is a grand holiday matince when The Tarzan Story. complete. in fifteen reels. will be screened.
