Local stocks are believed to be sufficient to meet the demand, and as these stocits have been piled up since last year at very low rates dealers are making enormous profits. Local Chinese sugar merchants are not anxious to replenish their stocks, and playing more Dr ·less a game of “wait and see,” confident! of a drop in the near future. On the other hand.
