The fourteenth report of the directors for the meeting of April
30th stated
- The net profit for the period after making due provision for depreciation amounted to $5,473.- 77 to which has to be added the balance of $23,710.10 brought forward from Inst account, making a total of $29,183.87 available as at 31st January, 1919, which your Directors recommend should be carried forward the bext account.
The producing area was 376 ac. Recent planting 69 ao. Felled but not cleared 47 ac. Building sites and swamps 339 ac.
The cost of weeding during the year, was 85 cents per acte per month against $1.52 during the preceding year.
The output of dry rubber for the year amounted to 249,851 lb (Sale weights) against 271,767 lb in the previous year.
