The largest concrete ship yet built in Norway has been completed at Christiania for the Laibyde 8.8. by the Fougner Concrete Shipbuilding: Company. The experience gained with the lower powers has led to a rapid increase in size until to-day Diesel engines are being built that equal anything turned out in Britain or on the Continent. Each set of engines has six cylinders with a diameter of 25.2 inches and a stroke of 47.37 inches.
